2008 photographic wandering

I spent the first nine months of 2008 trying to find a photo project that interested me and appeared to have some merit. I spent some time shooting on the Florida Central Railroad. I had great fun riding around in the locomotives but just never could get a meaningful body of work going. I was able to travel a bit around Florida, the Mississippi delta region, and New Orleans. I did some street shooting around Orlando. I had much fun, met some interesting people, and made a few random photos. Finally in September, I began working on the Highway 50 Documentary project.

But here are some of the things I photographed along the way in 2008.
